Recycling Used Eyeglasses:
Your used eyeglasses can help a sight-impaired person
in a third-world country find a new lease on life.
Look for the Drop Off Box
at the Pea Ridge Water Office.

Assistance With Eye Care
The Lions are often able to help school children, the elderly, and
perhaps adults in difficult circumstances with the costs of eye
exams, eyeglasses, and certain other vision problems.
To apply for assistance, contact Mike Nida at the Pea Ridge
Water Dept. Office, or Melissa Tjarks at the AOK Insurance Office
in Pea Ridge.

"The Race for Sight" Lawnmower Races
The Pea Ridge Lions "Race for Sight" Lawnmower Races were held
on July 25th, 2015 at the Bill Patterson Farm on Lee Town Road east.
The Lions Club plans to hold a similar race event annually, probably in
late July each year.  The Race for Sight is a great entertainment
event for Northwest Arkansas and the Pea Ridge community, and a
helpful fundraising event for the Lions Club.

"Culpepper & Merriweather Circus":
Wednesday, September 10, 2014

The Pea Ridge Lions Club and the Pea Ridge Optimist Club jointly sponsored
the C & M circus performances at the Old Blackhawk Stadium on east Black St..
Two shows were presented, the first at 5:00 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m.
The two civic clubs greatly appreciate the local businesses
whose support helped make the Circus possible.
